16 CFR Part 1611 SPI Flammability Testing Equipment
This electronic fire testing machine is designed for evaluating the flame retardant properties of polyethylene plastic film materials according to 16 CFR Part 1611 standards.
Application
Suitable for testing non-rigid and unsupported polyethylene plastic film materials, including transparent, translucent, and opaque variants. Accommodates flat, convex, cast, or surface-treated materials.
Testing Principle
Samples are clamped in a fixture at a 45° angle and ignited. The instrument measures the time required for flames to travel 6 inches along the inclined surface, calculating the burning rate for accurate assessment.
Compliance Standard
Meets CPSC 16 CFR Part 1611 requirements for flammability testing of plastic films.
