UL1581 Wire and Cable Flame Test Chamber is used to test the flame retardant performance of insulation layer under abnormal conditions such as overheat and overcurrent.This sect will be manufactured strictly according to UL1581 sect 1080.1~1080.14 and approved by Guangzhou MEIhua UL Co., LTD., which fully meets the VW-1 Flame Test standard and is applicable to FT-1 and FT-2 of UL1581.The equipment has beautiful appearance, reasonable internal structure, simple and fast operation, accurate test. It is widely used by wire and cable manufacturers, colleges ,universities and commodity inspection departments.
Main Technical Parameters:
1. The machine is composed of combustion chamber and control part.

Test chamber: the volume is greater than 4m.The area above the test flame is greater than 2.0m;The chamber consists of a frame inside and outside Coating thickness of 1.5mm electrostatic high-temperature paint steel plate, CNC machine tool processing and molding, external spray treatment, internal paint.There are two layers of paint, one for anti-rust paint, two for production of black matte paint, with anti-rust corrosion and other characteristics.
3. The back of chamber is provided with a ventilation and smoke exhaust system, and forced exhaust is used.The exhaust gas can be discharged to outdoor after the test is completed.

Test instructions:
1.Sample preparation for FT1 combustion test:
One sample, about 455mm long, is taken from the finished wire and cable or flexible cord.
2. Operation method of FT1 combustion test:
2.1. Prepare samples and handle them according to the relevant provisions in the above "Sample Preparation".
2.2 Open the door of test chamber, clamp both ends of sample into the upper and lower fixtures respectively and fix them.Move the flame spread limit indicator and flame spread start indicator to the appropriate position.Access gas, access air.
2.3 Power on and turn on the power switch.Turn on "Light" on the touch screen and turn on lighting.Press the "Move fire NOZZLE" on touch screen. Tilt the nozzle 70° and place it (as shown below). Then install a flame nozzle (Long:40mm). Move the nozzle assembly appropriately and compare it to nozzle to determine the nozzle's test position.(Note: Once the position of blowtorch is determined, it does not need to be adjusted)
2.4 After the nozzle is adjusted, remove flame nozzle and press the "Move fire NOZZLE" on touch screen. Place the nozzle perpendicular to 90°.
