Stainless steel caps for internal pressure testing of PVC pipes
Working principle:
Stainless steel caps for internal pressure testing of PVC pipes are used for sealing the test pipes. High temperature resistant silicone seal rings embedded in the stainless steel caps seal groove, the caps metal rings press the silicone seal rings.
The O-ring which is deformed by external force acts as a seal.
Structural composition:
Semi circular base, sealing ring, pressing ring , clamp, fastening bolts, compression bolts and vent valve.
Application:
Mainly used for sealing of PVC, PE, PP-R, ABS, composite pipe samples for hydrostatic test, bursting test, negative pressure test and so on.
Fixture structure:
Half round pot form,easy for installation , no leakage, convenient operation.
Different diameter can be selected according to customers’ requirement, the material is 304# stainless steel or carbon steel
