Product Construction
This Type XHHW-2 MC cable features 8000 Series Aluminum Alloy Conductors with XLPE insulation. The insulated conductors and bare ground conductor are cabled together, wrapped with Mylar tape, and protected by aluminum alloy interlocked armor. For direct burial applications, an optional PVC sheath is available.
Applications & Specifications
- Ideal for branch, feeder, and service power distribution systems
- Suitable for wet or dry locations with temperatures up to 90°C
- Maximum voltage rating: 600 Volts
- PVC-sheathed version recommended for direct burial applications

Compliant with UL44, UL1569, ICEA S-66-524 standards, with custom standards available upon request.
Packaging Options
Available in coil, steel reel, wooden reel, or steel/wooden reel configurations.
