Unroll and apply the adhesive side to the underside of the rug, pad or tile, leaving the paper backing in place. Alternatively, apply to the floor surface where carpet or tile will be laid. Use adequate tape for the job based on surface and material.

Remove paper backing from pieces one at a time for easier positioning. Once satisfied with placement, press firmly along edges and middle for secure adhesion.

Lift a corner and pull firmly to remove. For stubborn tape, use dish soap and warm water or a carpet-safe adhesive remover like Goo Gone.
