Aluminum honeycomb core is made of aluminum foil which is bonded by special high strength and environment-friendly glue. The performance of the aluminum honeycomb core is determined by aluminum foil, joint glue and the specification of the core.
 
1. Aluminum foil
3003H24/5052H18 grade aluminum alloy foil with the surface special treated has been used for producing the core.
 
2. Glue
 
Modified epoxy glue for high temperature cure process can provide not only sufficient bonding strength, but also environmental protection and high or low temperature resistance properties. The joint strength of aluminum honeycomb core is the keypoint of evaluating its performance, whose minimum requirement should be more than 2.0N/mm.

Applications: 

Aluminum honeycomb cores have a wide range of usage. Different sizes of honeycomb cores may have different application. For example, microporous honeycomb cores can be used as filter materials, and honeycomb cores of general specifications can be used as composite materials.
1. Use of honeycomb core with common specifications: honeycomb core with common specifications such as 4mm ~ 6mm edge length is generally used as composite material in composite board. The most common is as aluminum honeycomb panel, aluminum ceiling composite material and stone honeycomb panel.
2. Purpose of microporous honeycomb core and small size honeycomb core: small diameter honeycomb core with side length of 1.5mm ~ 3mm can be used as filter material, lampshade material (light filter), paper honeycomb composite material, etc.
