High Flat Surface A3003H18 Perforated Aluminum Honeycomb Core
The perforated aluminum honeycomb core is made of 0.06mm thickness or customer-specified thickness of aluminum foil, which is made of hexagonal honeycomb by glue bonding. Its density is small (about 3 to 7 kg per square meter), light weight, greatly reducing cost and protecting the environment, sound and heat insulation, saving resources. The aluminum honeycomb core is free of combustible materials and has a fire rating of at least B1. The panel performs well in waterproof, moisture-proof, and no harmful gas release. It has high unit mass ratio strength and rigidity, high flat surface, and is not easily deformed, completely overcoming the collapse and deformation of the central portion of the large panel.

General Instruction:
Aluminum honeycomb core is made of aluminum foil which is bonded by special high strength and environment-friendly glue. The performance of the aluminum honeycomb core is determined by aluminum foil, joint glue and the specification of the core.
1. Aluminum foil
3003H24/5052H18 grade aluminum alloy foil with the surface special treated has been used for producing the core.
2. Glue
Modified epoxy glue for high temperature cure process can provide not only sufficient bonding strength, but also environmental protection and high or low temperature resistance properties. The joint strength of aluminum honeycomb core is the keypoint of evaluating its performance, whose minimum requirement should be more than 2.0N/mm.

Applications:
5056 aluminum honeycomb uses include aircraft floors, aircraft leading and trailing edges, missile wings, fan casings, fuel cells, fuselage components, helicopter rotor blades and navy bulkhead joiner panels. 5056 honeycomb is suitable for applications where materials conforming to AMS C7438 Rev A are required. is a lightweight core material which offers superior strength and corrosion resistance against the 3003 commercial grade aluminum honeycomb core. 5052 honeycomb core is made from 5052 aluminum alloy foil and meets all the requirements of aerospace use standard.
