How to choose material:
 
1.stainless steel :

providing good corrosion resistance and strength comparable to galvanized carbon steel grades.

2.galvanized steel:

Zinc-coated carbon steel offers some corrosion resistance. It remains ductile over long periods of working. Usually higher break strengths than stainless steels.

Aircraft cable is available in galvanized steel and Stainless Steel,

and is also offered in Stainless Steel Type 316.

Our aircraft cable mainly comes in 7x7 strand,

1x7 strand, 1 x19 strand, and 7x19 strand is available too if required

All in galvanized steel or stainless steel.

Aircraft cable sizes range from 1.0mm to 3.0, with different breaking strengths (tensile strengths).

Never store wire rope in areas subject to elevated temperatures as this may seriously affect its future performance. In extreme cases, its original as-manufactured strength may be severely reduced rendering it unfit for safe use. Failure to do so may result in the rope becoming contaminated with foreign matter and start the onset of corrosion before the rope is even put to work.
