Grip Strut is the industry leader in safety grating. A versatile, one-piece metal plank, Grip Strut is manufactured with unique diamond shaped openings and formed side channels. Maximum, multi-directional slip resistance is provided by a heavily serrated, diamond matrix walking surface that enhances workplace safety. With approximately 35% open area, fluids and ice easily pass through the grating. Non-serrated surfaces are available upon special request. Benefits of Grip Strut include:

Widths & Depths
Grip Strut planks are available in a broad range of widths and depths for various applications and load requirements.
Standard widths include:
- 2 Diamond (4 ¾” wide)
- 3 Diamond (7” wide)
- 4 Diamond (9-1/2” wide)
- 5 Diamond (11-3/4” wide)
- 8 Diamond (18-3/4” wide)
- 10 Diamond (24” wide)
Standard channel depths include 1-1/2”, 2”, 2-1/2”, and 3”.
Stock lengths of 10’ and 12’ are readily available and custom lengths are available on special order.
Materials
Grip Strut planks are available in the following materials:
- Pre-galvanized steel, ASTM A924 G90, 14 or 12 gauge
- HRPO uncoated steel, ASTM A1011, 14 or 12 gauge
- 5052-H32 aluminum, ASTM B209, 12 gauge (.080) or 10 gauge (.100)
- 304 or 316L stainless steel, 16 gauge
