3mm Black Concrete Reinforcing Mesh for South American Market
3mm Wire Diameter 15cm Openning Black Welded Wire Mesh for South American Market
Welded Mesh Fabric Reinforcement is manufactured using cold-rolled deformed wire, electrically resistance welded at the intersections of the longitudinal and transverse wires at the required mesh spacing with minimal loss of strength and cross-sectional area.
Welded Mesh Fabric is specified and manufactured according to SANS 1024 Standard Specifications making for easy site identification, quality control and management.
Welded Mesh Fabric is generally used in surface beds (concrete floor slabs on fill) and road pavements, mesh can also be used in suspended floor slabs, concrete retaining walls, box culverts and drains, precast stadium seating, tilt-up wall panels to name a few.
Pipemesh rolls come in variable widths and lengths. They are used to reinforce concrete pipes. The use of pipemesh in concrete pipes meets the structural requirements.

Features of our concrete reinforcing mesh
- The welded wire fabric makes them easier to work on.
- There are different diameters of steel reinforcing mesh each suited for a particular application.
- There are different designs of steel reinforcing mesh from bent and rolls to flat sheets.
- As per BS 4482 standards and codes, the stainless steel wire used in the manufacture of the
steel reinforcing mesh has a 510MPa tensile strength and 485MPa minimum proof stress. - The steel reinforcing mesh is rigid making it possible for you to control concrete cover during
construction. - Manufacturers produce steel reinforcing mesh under SANS1024 Standard Specifications.
- The steel bars stay intact whenever immersed in concrete because they are carefully welded
in mats. - You don’t have to apply additional surface treatment to the steel reinforcing mesh before
use. - Less field labor needed when making reinforced concrete slabs using this mesh thus
drastically speeding up the construction process. - The mesh is easy to load and unload, and easy to handle at the working site.
- Properly mixed concrete is poured into the mesh and then given time to dry out. The
concrete, as it continues to dry out, it grips the steel bars tightly creating a bond stress
between these two materials. This bond stress is essential because it reduces bending and
makes reinforced concrete slabs stronger.

Trench Mesh:
Trench mesh is long, narrow sheets of concrete reinforcing mesh, ideally sizes for trenches, paths or other narrow spaces.
Trench mesh common uses include rock walls, brick walls and house footings and used specifically for residential footing trenches.
Trench mesh made from grade D500L ribbed reinforcing wire including main wire and cross wire. Its longitudinal wires (main wire) from 7.6 mm up to 15.6 mm diameter, and cross wire in 4 mm or 4.77 mm diameter.
The trench rib mesh products all come 6.0 m longs with a variety of standard widths from 200 mm to 500 mm.
