ASTM A975 Gabion Baskets 2m x 1m x 1m with 2.2mm-2.7mm Wire Thickness for Erosion Control
Woven gabion baskets are rectangular containers constructed from double or triple twist hexagonal steel mesh fabric made from galfan wire or PVC-coated wire. These durable structures are engineered for demanding applications including retaining walls, fencing, and channel linings.
Our gabion baskets feature superior corrosion resistance through multiple coating options:
- Heavy zinc coating per EN 10244/ASTM A 641 standards
- Optional 0.5mm thick PVC coating with UV stabilization per ASTM A 975
- Galfan wire (zinc-aluminum alloy) for enhanced durability
Reinforced edges and transverse diaphragms utilize thicker selvedge wire (3.0mm) for increased rigidity and structural integrity.
