Product Description

Drag bit is used in soft to medium formation such as sand, clay, or some soft rock for water well drilling, mining, geothermal, environmental and exploration drilling. When the DTH hammer or tricone bit lose their effectiveness and then the drag bit is used, the cleaning of the hole is realized by the injection of air or water. They are not suitable in coarse gravel or hard rock formations.

Chevron type:
- Chevron type for medium hard grounds. Chevron bits are designed for medium formations and are used in areas that
contain a lot of rock and also in the oilfield for drilling out concrete casings and plugs. Chevron drill bits are used for drilling
more abrasive formations like soft sandstones and shales.
The Chevron style bit is more durable than the step drill bit but, because of cutting structure, will penetrate more slowly.

Three wings type:

Thread 2 3/8" IF, 2 7/8" IF is available.

Four wings type:

Thread 2 3/8" IF, 2 7/8" IF is available.
