High Temperature Fiberglass Sleeving , Silicone Cable Sleeve
Fire-resistant & Heat-resistant fiberglass sleeving is the non-alkali fiberglass braided sleeving coated with silicone rubber. This sleeving possesses great heat-insulation and flame-resistance.
Usage
Firesleeve (sometimes spelled fire sleeve or fire-sleeve) is the perfect choice for the protection of industrial hydraulic hoses and lines, pneumatic lines, fuel & oil lines, brake lines, wires and cables from exposure to high and extreme heat conditions. The extra thick special formulation of silicone rubber sheds molten metals, slag, welding splatter, electrical or grinding sparks and contamination. Firesleeve also provides protection from ozone, UV and abrasion. Also used as an insulation sleeve for cold temperature protection of lines and hoses. May be multi-layered with other sleeves or more firesleeve layers.
