Application
This cable allows you to connect your round 8 or 9 pin GREEN OR 8 or 9 pin BLACK ELD device or diagnostic cable to older 6 pin round diagnostics connector in medium and heavy duty vehicles model years from the early-to-mid-2000s.
The black 9 pin connector will accept BOTH BLACK AND/OR GREEN 8 or 9 pin plug. You can plug in any device or cable with round 8 or 9 pin whether it is black or green.
It works with all ELDs such as Cummins ZED, Garmin Elog, KeepTruckin ELD or other ELDs needing to plug into black OR green 8 or 9 pin diagnostics port.
One end has Deutsch 6 pin plug with locking ring - this plugs on to your factory diagnostic connector located in trucks. The other end has 9 pin BLACK receptacle - this will work with ANY BLACK OR GREEN 8 or 9 pin ELDs or diagnostics cables.
