Engineered specifically for ultra-deep wells, high-pressure reservoirs, and highly abrasive formations, the 45MnMoB-grade drilling pipe combines a high-manganese-molybdenum alloy composition with enhanced mechanical properties to deliver unmatched reliability in challenging drilling environments.
- Extreme Load-Bearing: Tensile strength ≥790 MPa, hardness up to 28-32 HRC (after quenching & tempering), ensuring reliable performance in ultra-deep wells (>3,000m) and high-pressure formations (≥50 MPa).
- Wear & Corrosion Resistance: High manganese (1.05-1.35%) and molybdenum (0.20-0.25%) content enhance abrasion resistance, while a refined microstructure improves fracture toughness for extended service life in harsh conditions.
- Balanced Toughness: Elongation ≥14% balances strength and ductility, effectively absorbing sudden impacts (e.g., stuck pipe, vibration) to prevent brittle failure.
- Specialized Adaptability: Optimized for hard rock, high-sand content, and complex formations. Optional quenching & tempering (QT) treatment further increases surface hardness (up to 32 HRC) for enhanced durability.
Tougher and more wear-resistant than conventional carbon steels (e.g., 1541), yet more cost-targeted than 4130/4140—designed specifically for high-demand drilling scenarios.
Mn-Mo alloy formula + precision engineering ensures high-temperature stability and fatigue resistance, meeting modern deep-well requirements.
