Cold drawn welded pipe is an excellent choice for multistage hydraulic cylinder tube production. The manufacturing process and precision match that of seamless steel tube cold drawing, utilizing precision resistance welding (ERW) followed by precision drawing to create EN 10305-2 EU mechanical cold drawn steel tube welding standards.

Manufacturing Process
The cold rolled welded tube is produced by drawing ERW (electric resistance welded tube). During this process, the sizing (wall thickness, inside and outside diameter), as well as weld integrity and surface finish is closely controlled to produce tube of the required size and mechanical property characteristics.
