EN10305-2 Standard Cold Drawn Weld Steel Tube for Automotive Camshaft Pipe with High Precision
Cold Drawn Weld Steel Tube EN10305-2 (DIN2393) Automotive Part Camshaft Pipe
Cold drawn weld steel tube EN10305-2, conforming to DIN2393 standards, serves as a crucial component in automotive parts, notably for camshaft pipes. Manufactured through a precise cold drawing process, it ensures high precision and consistent wall thickness. This makes it ideal for applications requiring high mechanical strength and durability, such as in the automotive industry where it plays a vital role in the engine's function and efficiency.
Cold Drawn Weld Steel Tube is called as DOM (Drawn Over Mandrel). It is produced by drawing ERW (electric resistance welded tube). During this process the sizing (wall thickness, inside and outside diameter), as well as weld integrity and surface finish is closely controlled to produce tube of the required size and mechanical property characteristics.
