Continuous Slot Water Well Screen , also called Water well screens, Vee wire well screens, are made of Vee or wedge shaped wires around an internal array of longitudinal support rods.
It is designed to serve as the intake portion of wells constructed in unconsolidated or semi-consolidated aquifers. This design supplies a continuous slot openings, which allows water to enter the well freely in ample quantities and keeps the majority of sand and gravels out of the well at the same time.
