Wedge Wire Rotary Screen Drum Filter type:
Flow inside to outside also known as filtration in to out (FITO) happens when the support profile is horizontal to the surface profile of the wedge wire filter.
Flow inside to outside is ideal if you want to maintain the pressure of the fluid during the filtration.
However, there will be frequent cake formation as a result of the deposit of contaminants at the sides of the wedge wire filter.
This is due to the small inner diameter which does not generate enough pressure to force the contaminants.
