This is another type of wedge wire screen. While standard wedge wire screens filter from outside to inside (FOTI), this reverse wedge wire screen filters from inside to outside (FITO).
The screen features v-shaped cross-section stainless steel wires welded on a framework, creating precision filter slots between adjacent wires. This design facilitates smooth back flushing to remove filter residue, enabling continuous water supply.
