GEA Plate Heat Exchanger for HVAC, Marine & Industrial Applications - Multiple Series Available
A plate heat exchanger utilizes metal plates to efficiently transfer heat between two fluids. This design provides significant advantages over conventional heat exchangers by exposing fluids to a much larger surface area as they spread across the plates.
Channels formed between the plates and strategically arranged corner ports enable two media to flow through alternate channels. Heat transfers through the plates between channels, creating complete counter-current flow for maximum thermal efficiency. The plate corrugation provides passage between plates, supports adjacent plates, and enhances turbulence for optimal heat transfer performance.
GEA plate heat exchangers serve diverse industrial sectors including HVAC systems, marine applications, food processing (beer, milk, juice), chemical processing, mining operations, refinery processes, and power plant operations.
