High Verticality 0.003mm Tolerance Core Insert for Hot Runner System Mold Tooling with HRC58 Hardness
During mold manufacturing, core and cavity inserts require specific dimensional tolerances to ensure proper fit within mold pockets. High tolerance manufacturing and advanced technology significantly reduce fitting time for mold masters.
- When creating corner radius on manual milling machines, leave a 0.2mm step to eliminate corner grinding after hardening
- External dimensions of mold cavity/core inserts should maintain +0/-0.015mm tolerance for easy pocket fitting
- Hole tolerance for sprue bushing should be H7 (0/+0.015mm)
- Threading depth should be 1.5-2 times the thread diameter (M8 screw requires 12-16mm depth)
- Ejector pin guidance length should be 15-20mm for smooth ejection and extended lifespan
- Ejector pin clearance area should be 1mm larger than pin diameter
