The anti-static principle of anti-static work clothes is as follows:

Anti-static work clothes refer to work clothes sewn with anti-static fabrics to prevent static electricity from accumulating on the clothes. Antistatic fabric is a fabric made of conductive fibers or antistatic synthetic fibers or both at equal intervals or evenly mixed and interwoven during weaving.
Conductive fibers refer to fibers made of metal or organic conductive materials or subconductive materials in whole or in part, and their volume resistivity ρV~ is between 10e4~10e9Ω/cm. According to the distribution of conductive components in the fiber, conductive fibers can be divided into three types: homogeneous type, coated type and composite type. The vast majority of antistatic fabrics are made of conductive fibers, especially those with composite conductive components, that is, composite fibers are used the most.
Antistatic work clothes made of conductive fibers added to chemical fiber fabrics are based on two mechanisms of charge leakage and neutralization. When the fabric is grounded, the static electricity on the fabric is neutralized by the corona discharge of the conductive fiber, and can also be discharged to the ground through the conductive fiber; when not grounded, the electricity is dissipated by the weak corona discharge of the conductive fiber.
