Working Principle

They control the on-off and flow rate of fluid through the relative movement between the disc and the seat. By rotating the valve stem clockwise, the disc moves downward to closely fit the seat, blocking the fluid passage. Rotating the valve stem counterclockwise lifts the disc, creating a gap between the disc and the seat, allowing fluid to flow through, and the degree of disc opening can be adjusted to control the fluid flow.
