Screen Printing Squeegee Instruction for use:
The durometer of the screen printing squeegee is a measure of the hardness of a rubber blade. A higher hardness tester 90 is used in the graphics industry, especially bottle printers. Textile dyers mostly use 70 durometers-some dyers may prefer 60 or 80 Duro. The lower hardness squeegee can push more ink onto the fabric, so if you want to apply more ink to get better coverage, or want to print a puff or gel, you can use 50 or 60 Hardness Tester. The squeegee comes in different shapes, such as straight sides, round (bull nose) or double bevels (bevels also have different angles). Bevel scraper is used for bottle printing machine or hard surface printing. Some textile printers use beveled edges for fine textile printing.
