【MONKEYPOX COLLECTION TUBE INTENDED USE】

Use for the collection, transportation and storage of virus specimen in labs or hospitals.

【MONKEYPOX MEDIUM SAMPLE REQUIREMENT】

2 options to collect sample of skin lesion:

1. Micro blood collection tube (EDTA.K2) with spade nozzle

Use Mirco Tube to scrape the skin lesion position.
Collect more than one skin lesion in case there is insufficient sample.
Tighten the cape of tube and shake till the samples can be landed to the bottom of tube.

2. Collect sample by VTM with Swab
Unscrew the Preservation Tube and place it on sampling rack.
Use Swab to scrape the skin lesion position.
Break the swab head into Preservation Tube.
Collect more than one skin lesion in case there is insufficient sample.
Tighten the cap of Preservation Tube after sample collection.

【VIRUS MEDIUM DETECTION】

• Before sampling, mark the sample information on the label of the sampling tube.
• According to different test purposes, use the sampling swab to sample the corresponding parts.
• Put the swab into sampling tube after sampling, break the swab tail, then tighten the tube cover.
• Ship the collected samples to the laboratory in time ( Transportation can be at room temperature).

【VIRUS MEDIUM STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE】

Store at 4-30 ℃, shelf life is 12 months.
