Brief Introduction:

Pencil Hardness Tester Description:

The surface hardness of the coating film layer is measured by hardness pencil scraping, and the hardness pencil is fixed at an angle of 45°, so that the front end pen core is in contact with the surface of the coating layer, and a proper load is applied at a certain speed (JIS specification 0.5mm/sec).

The mobile test platform moves the surface of the coating layer over the pen and the softest pencil grade, which does not cause damage (scratches), can be considered as the hardness of the coating layer.
