What is Powder Coating ?
The powders may be thermoplastic or thermosetting polymers. It is usually used to form a harder hard surface than conventional paint. Powder coating is a coating that is applied in the form of a free flowing dry powder. Unlike traditional liquid paints, which are transported by evaporating solvents, powder paints are usually sprayed electrostatically and then cured under heat or UV light. The difference between powder coating and electroplating is that powder coating is used for metal furniture and usually electroplated for stainless steel furniture at the same time.
