- Excellent resistance to reduction, oxidation, and nitriding medium corrosion
- Superior stress corrosion cracking resistance at both room temperature and high temperature
- Effective resistance to dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride gas corrosion
- Outstanding mechanical properties across sub-zero, room temperature, and high temperature environments
- Enhanced creep rupture strength through controlled carbon content and grain size, recommended for use above 700°C

- Vinyl chloride monomer production: resistant to chlorine, hydrogen chloride, oxidation and carbonation corrosion
- Uranium oxidation to hexafluoride: resistant to hydrogen fluoride corrosion
