HT Cast Sleeves

Our Gray Iron compressor parts 120 to 350 mm in diameter and 300 to 500 mm long are spun-cast on spindle machines. These centrifugal cast machines can be operated at anywhere from 540 to 1260 rpm.

The centrifugal castings are tubular metal articles cast in permanent metal dies and particularly to articles of cast iron.

The spun castings are free of defects such as pin holes, dents or inclusion of foreign matter, and which have a relatively even outer surface conforming closely to a desired diameter, so that the castings may be machined to a finished size with a minimum removal of stock.
