Why Purify Transformer Oil?
Dissolved gases in transformer oil can cause arcing, corona discharges, and overheating, reducing electrical efficiency and transformer lifespan. Water contamination as low as 30 ppm adversely affects insulating strength. With increasing energy efficiency standards for power distribution transformers, effective degassing becomes increasingly critical. Particle contamination also impacts insulating oil performance, necessitating regular oil purification.
Applications
DVP series double-stage vacuum transformer oil purifiers are specially designed for processing insulating oil in high-voltage electrical equipment (particularly for 500KV+ UHV insulating oil) in workshops or field operations. Suitable for storage tanks and drums, these systems feature dual-stage vacuum sources, double-stage vacuum dehydration and degasification vessels, and three-stage precision filtration to rapidly and effectively remove moisture, gases, particles, and other contaminants. This significantly improves dry-level and dielectric strength while enabling online oil treatment for transformers, vacuum drying, and oil-pumping for electrical equipment. Also applicable for 110KV+ EHV transmission and distribution equipment, capacitor oil, cable oil, and mutual inductor oil.
