The coalescence separator utilizes dual filtration stages - separation and coalescence filters. Fuel enters the system and flows through coalescence filters where emulsion breaking, coalescence, and sedimentation processes occur. Water droplets combine into larger masses that settle at the bottom, while separation filters with water-repellent materials block remaining droplets.
