Material Brief Introduction:

304 is an universal stainless steel that is widely used to make equipment and parts which require good overall performance (corrosion resistance and formability). In order to maintain the corrosion resistance inherent in stainless steel, the steel must contain more than 18% chromium and more than 8% nickel.

304 stainless steel plate has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low temperature strength and mechanical properties, good hot workability such as stamping and bending, no heat treatment hardening, and no magnetism. In normal conditions, the corrosion resistance of 304L stainless steel is similar to that of 304 stainless steel, but after welding or after stress relief, 304L stainless steel has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion. In addition to 304L, other commonly used materials 304H 316 316L 316Ti 316H 321 321H 310S 347H, etc.

ASTM A240 include stainless steel plate, stainless steel sheet, stainless steel coil, stainless steel strip.

1. Stainless steel plate is hot rolled thick type, thickness is ≥3mm, supply range is 3~200mm.

2. Stainless steel sheet is cold rolled thin type, thickness is ≤6mm. supply range is 0.01~6mm.

3. Stainless steel coil include both hot rolled and cold rolled, width is ≥600mm, supply range 0.6~2.0m.

4. Stainless steel strip include both hot rolled and cold rolled, width is <600mm, supply range 3~600mm.
