Material Brief Introduction:

1.4301 is an universal stainless steel that is widely used to make equipment and parts which require good overall performance (corrosion resistance and formability). In order to maintain the corrosion resistance inherent in stainless steel, the steel must contain more than 18% chromium and more than 8% nickel.

1.4301 stainless steel plate has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low temperature strength and mechanical properties, good hot workability such as stamping and bending, no heat treatment hardening, and no magnetism. In normal conditions, the corrosion resistance of 1.4307 stainless steel is similar to that of 1.4301 stainless steel, but after welding or after stress relief, 1.4307 stainless steel has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion.
