Product Introduction
Alloy 347 is a stable austenitic chromium steel containing columbium, which eliminates carbide precipitation and prevents intergranular corrosion. Stabilized by chromium and tantalum additions, Alloy 347 offers superior creep and stress rupture properties compared to alloys 304 and 304L. It is particularly suitable for applications concerned with sensitization and intergranular corrosion. The niobium addition provides excellent corrosion resistance, surpassing even 321 alloy. 347H is the high-carbon variant with enhanced high-temperature and creep properties.
