Product Description
Cooling Agent WS-23 is the latest in a long line of cooling agents. Each have their own different ways of cooling different areas of the mouth and tongue and to different degrees.

WS-23, unlike other cooling agents is not derived from menthol, but like it's counterparts, it has no odour or flavour and just provides a cooling effect. It is not as strong as some of the other variants, however the cooling effect is smoother and more rounded. It mainly effects the front of the mouth and tongue.

WS-23 is a cooling agent that has little or no odor or taste.

As opposed to other cooling agents, WS-23 is more round and smooth in character.

This additive is good for those who enjoy "cool or icey" cooling impacts with less flavor muting than other popular additives.

The traditional coolants like menthol, peppermint oil and eucalyptus oil have the advantages of fast eruption and strong stimulation of cool feeling. But meanwhile they have the disadvantages of very strong characteristic smell, which is easy to volatilize at high temperature and contains bitter taste at high dosages.

Now our cooling agent ws-3 can satisfy customer’s demands, generally,it have strong cool feeling, non-peppermint, characteristic smell and no high volatility.
There is a high cooling effect without other unpleasant feelings such as bitterness, burning, stinging or tingling sensations and can bring more stimulative, fresh and aromatic sensory to the entire mouth and throat.

Its melting point is from 62°C to 64°C. It will not affect cooling perception of product even under temperature at 200°C.

Its cooling intensity can maintain 15~30 minutes and cooler than tradional menthol products.

When used with other flavors, it enhances the effects of the flavors. It also can be used with other cooling agents.

Daily use
1.toothpaste, oral products, air freshener, skin cream, face cream, shampoo, sunscreen, bath cream.

2. Food products: confectionery products, chocolate, dairy produce, beer, distilled spirit, beverage, Chewing Gum..

3. Medicine: linctus, diminish inflammation ointment, dyspepsia, antipruritic, liniment, oral cavity acesodyne, heatstroke pill.

4.Continuous and long lasting cooling and refreshing effect, having no hot, harsh and stinging sensation of Menthol and/or Peppermint.

5.Heat-Resistance: Heating under 200oC will not reduce the cooling effect, suitable to use on baking and other high temperature heating process.

6.Its cooling intensity can maintain 15-30 minutes, enriching the refreshing of product and having no burning pain, stabbing and numbness, it’s cooler than traditional Menthol product.

7.Low dosage: 30-100 mg/kg dosage will give good cooling effect.

8.Excellent compatibility with other flavors, it can enhance the effect of the flavors. It also can be combined using with other cooling agents.
