ANTHRA-ZINC offers a unique stone-like finish that is capable of blending with various materials, such as black slate.

As per VMZINC, ANTHRA-ZINC is not a painted product, so the color variations between batches achieve the intended appearance of stone rather than metal.  As with Natural Zinc, based on the type of installation, surface exposure to weather, and geographical conditions, ANTHRA-ZINC may slowly and gradually lighten over time to dark grey. Superficial surface scratches and marks will be covered by the natural grey patina. ANTHRA-ZINC’s patina enforces zinc’s long-lasting reputation by ensuring low-maintenance durability while protecting the material’s surface from environmental forces.

By utilizing the Anthra zinc as front layer of composite panels, the finished ZCP  is featured with characteristics of perfect flatness, light weight, high rigidity, workability, long life span and self-repair imperfections and scratches.

• Composition and Type of ZCP

There are generally two grades of ZCP according to the back side cover sheet. They are named as Zn-Zn and Zn-Al.

For Zn-Zn, it means both sides of ZCP is finished with Zinc sheet.

For Zn-Al, it means top side of ZCP is zinc sheet while back side with aluminum sheet.

Type three: ZHP

Materials introduced:

Zinc alloy: Zn-Ti-Cu alloy consisting of Zn>=99.5%, Ti=0.08~0.20%, Cu=0.07~0.12%.

Aluminum alloy: 1100, 3003, 5005, coated with a protective coating on backside.

Core material: PE, non-combustible mineral filled core, aluminum honeycomb.

• Surface aspects

ZCP offers discreet and refined grey aspects, unique colorful shades, which allow it to combine beautifully with other materials such as timber, concrete, brick and glass etc.

Total eight surface colors are currently available, including one natural zinc color, six pre-weathered zinc color, and one engraved surface color.

Zinc surface is self-repairing. Leave small scratches as it stands, and a naturally produced passivation layer of zinc hydroxyl carbonate, named patina, will gradually repair them over time.

The passivation layer will be produced in six months or up to two years. And it will not peel off.
