Pure beeswax is white, and usually the beeswax is light yellow, medium yellow or dark brown, which is caused by the fat-soluble carotenoids or other pigments in pollen and propolis. At normal temperature, beeswax is in solid state and has a beeswax aroma similar to honey and bee flower powder. The specific gravity at 20 ℃ is 0.954-0.964. The melting point is generally between 62-67 ℃ depending on the source and processing and extraction methods. Beeswax turns into smoke at 300 ℃ and decomposes into carbon dioxide, acetic acid and other volatile substances.
