KSD301 thermostat / bimetal thermal protector / KSD301 temperature protector

The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetallic discs that snap into action when sensing temperature changes. This snap action activates the internal contacts, ultimately opening or closing the electrical circuit. Key characteristics include fixed working temperatures, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, extended service life, and reduced radio interference.

Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When temperature reaches the action range, it snaps quickly and the movable disc disconnects. The contact point cannot reset automatically when temperature declines - it requires manual reset by pushing the reset button to reconnect the circuit.

• Can reset when temperature declines 20°C after snap action by pressing reset button
• Recommended force: 4~6 N (avoid excessive strength)
• Minimum distance between reset button and close cover: 20.4mm for normal function
