The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetal discs snapping into action when sensing temperature changes. This snap action activates internal contacts to open or close the circuit. Key features include fixed working temperatures, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, extended lifespan, and reduced radio interference.

Difference Between Auto Reset and Manual Reset Types
Manual Reset Type: When temperature reaches the action range, the bimetallic strip quickly disconnects. The circuit remains open until manually reset by pressing a button (4-6N force recommended). Requires temperature to decline by 20°C before resetting.
Auto Reset Type: Automatically reconnects when temperature declines to the reset point without manual intervention.
