The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetal discs that snap into action when temperature changes occur. This snap action activates internal contacts to open or close circuits, featuring fixed working temperatures, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, extended lifespan, and reduced radio interference.

KSD301 Auto Reset vs Manual Reset Types
Manual Reset Type: Uses bimetallic strip temperature sensing. Requires manual reset button press after temperature drops 20°C from trip point. Reset force should be 4-6N. Minimum 20.4mm clearance required between reset button and cover.
Auto Reset Type: Uses bimetallic strip temperature sensing. Automatically resets when temperature drops to specified point without manual intervention.
