KSD301 Thermal Fuse H31 Mini Bimetal Thermal Switch
The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetal discs snapping into action with temperature changes. This snap action activates contacts through internal mechanisms, effectively controlling circuit connections. Key features include fixed working temperatures, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, extended lifespan, and reduced radio interference.

KSD301 Auto Reset vs Manual Reset Types
Manual Reset Type
Features a bimetallic strip temperature sensing component. When temperature reaches the action range, the disc snaps open to disconnect. Requires manual reset by pressing a button after temperature decreases by 20°C (4-6N force recommended). Requires minimum 20.4mm clearance between reset button and cover.
Auto Reset Type
Also uses bimetallic strip sensing. Automatically resets and reconnects the circuit when temperature decreases to the reset point without manual intervention.
