Manual Reset & Auto Reset Thermal Fuse
The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetal discs that snap into action when sensing temperature changes. This snap action activates internal contacts to open or close the circuit. Key features include fixed working temperature, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, long service life, and reduced radio interference.

KSD301 Auto Reset vs Manual Reset Types
Manual Reset Type
Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When temperature reaches the action range, it snaps quickly to disconnect. The contact point cannot reset automatically - circuit must be reconnected by pressing the reset button after temperature declines by approximately 20°C.
Note: 1. Apply 4~6 N force when resetting - excessive force may damage the mechanism. 2. For proper function, maintain at least 20.4mm clearance between reset button and cover.
Auto Reset Type
Uses similar bimetallic strip mechanism, but automatically resets and resumes operation when temperature declines to the specified reset point without manual intervention.
