KSD301 Thermostat Temperature Protector Controller Switch Manual Reset
The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetal discs that snap into action when temperature changes occur. This snap action activates internal contacts to open or close the circuit. Key features include fixed working temperature, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, long service life, and low radio interference.

Manual Reset vs Auto Reset Types
Manual Reset Type
When temperature reaches the action range, the bimetallic strip snaps to disconnect the circuit. The contacts remain open until manually reset by pressing the reset button (4-6N force recommended). Requires temperature to decline by 20°C before resetting. Minimum 20.4mm clearance required between reset button and cover for proper operation.
Auto Reset Type
Similar operation to manual reset, but automatically reconnects when temperature drops to the reset point without requiring manual intervention.
