Product Overview
The KSD9700 series thermostat features a bimetallic mechanism that automatically opens and closes electrical circuits based on temperature changes, providing reliable thermal protection for various applications.
Construction and Operation
The BW series universal and enhanced protectors feature a large metal casing composed of:
- Thermal conductive metal casing
- Bimetallic parts with silver alloy contact points
- Conductive bracket and insulation fixation stand
- Fixed contact strip and heat resistance cable
When temperature reaches the set value, the bimetallic components quickly open the contacts to disconnect the circuit. The contacts automatically reset when temperature returns to safe operating levels.
