KSD301 Thermal Switch 250V 16A Temperature Switch Temperature Controller
The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetal discs that snap into action when sensing temperature changes. This snap action activates internal contacts to open or close the circuit. Key features include fixed working temperatures, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, extended service life, and reduced radio interference.

Reset Types
Manual Reset Type
Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When temperature reaches the action range, it quickly disconnects. The contact point cannot reset automatically - the circuit must be reconnected by pressing the reset button when temperature declines by approximately 20°C. Requires 4~6N force for reset. Minimum 20.4mm clearance required between reset button and cover for proper operation.
Auto Reset Type
Similar operation to manual reset type, but automatically resets and restarts operation when temperature declines to the fixed reset point without manual intervention.
Applications
Widely used for temperature control in household appliances including coffee pots, automatic toasters, laminators, electric water pots, steam guns, steam irons, wind warmers, microwave ovens, and water dispensers.
