The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetallic discs that snap into action with temperature changes. This snap action activates internal contacts to open or close the circuit. Key characteristics include fixed working temperatures, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, long service life, and low radio interference.

Reset Types
Manual Reset Type
When temperature reaches the action range, the bimetallic strip disconnects the circuit. Requires manual reset button press (4-6N force) after temperature drops 20°C from trip point. Minimum 20.4mm clearance required between reset button and cover.
Auto Reset Type
Automatically resets when temperature drops to specified recovery point without manual intervention.

Ideal for temperature control in household appliances including coffee pots, toasters, laminators, electric kettles, steam guns, irons, warmers, microwaves, water dispensers, and more.
