BW-B2D 250V 10A KW9700 Temperature Controller Ksd9700 Bimetallic Thermostat Auto Reset Thermal Fuse
The BW-B2D temperature controlled switch is a high-quality bimetallic thermostat designed for automatic reset functionality. It features a robust construction with thermal conductive metal casing and precision bimetallic components for reliable temperature regulation.
Principle and Structure
The H20 and H21 series universal and enhanced protectors feature a large metal casing composed of:
- Thermal conductive metal casing
- Bimetallic parts welded with silver alloy contact point
- Conductive bracket and insulation fixation stand
- Fixed contact strip and heat resistance cable
During abnormal operation, when environmental temperature reaches the set value, the bimetallic components perform quick action to open the contact point and disconnect the circuit. When cooled to safe operating temperature, the contact point automatically closes to restore normal operation.

Operation Types
Manual Reset Type: When temperature reaches the action range, the bimetallic strip quickly disconnects the circuit. The contact point cannot reset automatically - requires manual reset by pushing the reset button after temperature declines by 20°C.
Note: Apply 4-6N force for reset. Ensure at least 20.4mm clearance between reset button and cover for proper function.
Auto Reset Type: The contact point automatically resets and restarts operation when temperature declines to the safe operating point.
