KSD301 Thermal Cut Off Switch
The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetal discs that snap into action when temperature changes occur. This snap action activates internal contacts to open or close circuits. Key features include fixed working temperatures, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, extended lifespan, and reduced radio interference.

KSD302 Auto Reset vs Manual Reset Types
Manual Reset Type:
Uses bimetallic strip temperature sensing components. When temperature reaches the action range, the disc snaps to disconnect. Requires manual reset button press (4-6N force recommended) when temperature declines 20°C after snap action. Requires minimum 20.4mm clearance between reset button and cover.
Auto Reset Type:
Uses bimetallic strip temperature sensing components. Automatically resets and resumes operation when temperature declines to the fixed reset point after snap action.
