The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetallic discs that snap into action when temperature changes occur. This snap action activates internal contacts to open or close circuits. Key features include fixed working temperatures, reliable snap action, minimal flashover, extended lifespan, and reduced radio interference.

KSD303 Auto Reset vs Manual Reset Types
Manual Reset Type: Uses bimetallic strip temperature sensing. When temperature reaches action range, the disc snaps open. Requires manual reset button press (4-6N force) after temperature drops 20°C from action point. Reset button must have ≥20.4mm clearance from cover.
Auto Reset Type: Uses bimetallic strip temperature sensing. Automatically resets when temperature drops to specified point without manual intervention.
